From April 11 to April 14, hosted together by China Daily and Lenovo Group, undertaken by 21st Century English, the Thirteenth National English Speech Competition entitled “21st Century ·Lenovo Cup” was held. Wu Siyi from class 62 of the Law School of XJTU, the only player from Shaanxi Province participating in the contest of finals, obtained the national second Class Award after competing with 62 semifinal players from all parts of the country.
This year, the ETS (Education Test Service) of USAbecame the English assessment cooperative partner of National English Speech Competition formally, bringing the assessment and test standard of this competition in line with international standards.
As one of the Olympic Games series activities of Beijing, this competition will lead the Young Generation to understand the marrow of the Olympic spirit deeply, reflect one's own value in the Olympic Games, and realize the goal of one's own life in social life.
